Digital Strategist Job Overview

We are looking for a full-time digital/web strategist with ecommerce experience who loves to audit and develop action plans related to search engine optimization (SEO), conversion rate optimization (CRO), user experience (UX) with at least a basic knowledge of content strategy and how all of the above affect performance. This role will be responsible for auditing our clients' websites to uncover opportunities for growth, collaborating with internal account managers and web development teams to execute recommendations and consult with clients, and driving ONELIVE's internal growth initiatives as it relates to SEO, CRO and UX...including management of the website, Google properties and social profile updates. Front-end coding and/or web design experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, this person must be able to perform the following functions with a high level of proficiency.

  • Performing client website audits related to SEO, CRO, UX and content, including creating of related documentation.
  • Creating presentation decks with audit findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders (account managers, development team, leadership), including education.
  • Interfacing and consulting with clients, in coordination with account managers.
  • Leading internal SEO, CRO and UX strategies for ONELIVE.
  • Managing the ONELIVE website, Google properties and social profiles as needed.

Requirements

The following traits and skills are required for this Digital Strategist role.

  • Proven industry experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) and ecommerce brands.
  • Experience performing audits related to SEO, website architecture, conversion rate optimization and UX.
  • Experience with communicating or consulting with clients, including leading meetings related to web performance.
  • Experience communicating with or educating internal teams as a subject matter expert.
  • Proficiency with key web, analytics and audit tools:
    • SEMrush
    • Lucky Orange/Hotjar
    • Google Tools - Analytics (GA4), Page Speed, Search Console
    • BuiltWith
    • Shopify
  • Proficiency with administrative and office tools:
    • Gmail & Google Calendar
    • MS PowerPoint / Google Slides
    • MS Excel / Google Sheets
    • CRM Software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc)
  • Working knowledge of basic web infrastructure (HTML, hosting, CMS, etc.).

Physical Requirements: Requires prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
