Generate a barcode label PDF

Summary: Select the products and variants you want, choose a column layout, and create a barcode label PDF you can save and reuse.

Before you begin

• The page lists your active Shopify products. Each label uses the variant's barcode, so make sure your products have barcodes set in Shopify. Variants without a barcode show No barcode.

Steps

1. Open the Barcodes page.
2. Find the products you want using the search box (Search products or SKU) and the category filter, or use Select all to select everything in the current list.
3. Select what to include:
   • Tick a product to include all of its variants.
   • For a product with multiple variants, expand it to tick individual variants.
4. Choose Create barcode PDF. (The button is disabled until you've selected at least one product or variant.)
5. In the dialog:
   • Enter a Document name, or leave it blank to use the suggested name.
   • Choose the number of Columns (1, 2, or 3) for the label grid.
   • Optionally pick an Event group to associate the document with.
   • Review the live preview of the sheet.
6. Choose Save document. The PDF is saved and appears in the Barcode documents list.

To change a saved document later, select it from the Barcode documents list, adjust your selection, and save again.
