Add an inventory site

Summary: Create an inventory location — a stock site that isn't a venue — to hold product separately from where events run.

An inventory site is a stock location: a warehouse, storage room, or mobile trailer that holds product but isn't where events take place. Inventory locations track Items and Products counts rather than upcoming events.

Steps

  1. From the Locations page, select New.
  2. Enter the location's Name.
  3. Turn the Inventory location toggle on. This marks the location as a stock site instead of a venue.
  4. Select Save.

The location appears on the Locations page with an Inventory badge and its Items and Products counts. Unlike venues, inventory sites don't require a country or state/province, and the contacts and address fields don't apply.
