Retry or delete an import
Summary: Open View details on any import to see per-row results, retry only the orders that failed, or delete every order the import created.
From the Order Imports page, choose View details on a row to open Import details. It summarizes how many orders were created and how many errored, and lists the validation errors and per-row results.
Retry failed orders
If an import finished as Partially failed, use Retry failed orders. It re-submits only the rows that failed — orders that already succeeded are never duplicated. A Retry started message confirms and the import runs again for those rows.
Delete an import's orders
Delete imported orders removes every order this import created from Shopify. This can't be undone, so you're asked to type DELETE to confirm. A Deletion started message confirms and the import's status moves to Deleting, then Deleted.
Use this when an import went to the wrong event or contained bad data — delete it, fix the file, and import again.
Import artifacts
Each import keeps a few records for reference on the details view:
- Original CSV — the exact file you uploaded.
- Generated payload — the order data that was submitted.
- Audit trail — a log of what happened. It's removed if you delete the import record.
