Review past settlements

Summary: Open the Settlements page to read each settled event's totals and filter the list by date or location.

Before you begin

A settlement record only appears here after an event has been settled on the POS. If the list is empty, no settlements have been completed yet.

Steps

  1. From the Live Events navigation in your Shopify admin, open Settlements.
  2. Read the overview bar at the top of the page. It summarizes the settlements currently in view: Gross settled, Paid attendance, and Settlements (the count of records). These totals update to match whatever filters you apply.
  3. Review the table. Each row is one settled event, with the following columns:
    • Location — the venue where the event took place.
    • Event — the event group the event belongs to.
    • Date — the event's start date and time, shown in the venue's time zone.
    • Paid Attendance — the paid headcount recorded at settlement.
    • Gross — gross sales for the event.
    • CC Fee Retained By — whether the Artist or the Venue kept the credit card fee.
    • Tax Retained By — whether the Artist or the Venue kept the tax.
    • Payout Type — how the payout was made: Cash, Check, or To Follow.
  4. To narrow the list, choose Filters. You can filter by an Event start date range and by Location. Choose Apply to update the table and the overview totals.
  5. To remove all filters, choose Clear.
  6. Use the page navigation to move between pages when there are more settlements than fit on one screen.
