Configure card fees on an event

Summary: Record the credit card processing fees for an event as percentages, either one rate for all cards or a rate per card type.

Card fees are set on the event as percentages under Credit card fees (%). You can apply a single rate to all cards, or set a different rate for each card type. For how these percentages are applied to an event's totals and who absorbs them, see Card fees in the Fees, Splits & Payouts hub.

Steps

  1. Open the event in the Event calendar (or start a new one).
  2. Expand the Credit card fees (%) section.
  3. Choose a mode:
    • All cards — enter one percentage in the Fee field that applies to every card.
    • By card type — choose a card type from Select a card type to add a row, then enter its percentage. Repeat for each card type you want to set. Use the Other field for any card type you haven't listed, and the remove (×) button to delete a row.
  4. Choose Save.

Percentages must be between 0 and 100.
