About Rick Springfield
Rick Springfield is an Australian-American, Grammy-winning singer and actor. He is best known for his 1980s hit Jessie's Girl from the album Working Class Dog. The song quickly became a worldwide hit, peaking at No. 1 for two consecutive weeks in the U.S. on the Hot 100 and the Australian Kent Music Report singles chart.
Since then, he has released multiple albums and singles. Springfield won the 1981 Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. Rick Springfield's audience spans multiple generations, from Baby Boomers who grew up with his music in the 1980s to Gen Xers to Millennials, who appreciate his classic hits as well as newer material.
Rick Springfield and his team started working with ONELIVE at the beginning of 2025 when they realized that they could use some help simplifying their currently disparate online presence while also improving the fan experience, but they were not sure how to get there.

Disparate websites & untapped revenue
Rick Springfield's Digital Marketing Manager, Jim Bullotta, who handles all the tech stack stuff, knew that they were not operating to the best of their abilities to reach their full success. Rick's team was very fragmented, disconnected, and un-unified.
They had three branded websites:
- RickSpringfield.com
- Fan club website
- Online merch store
Jim had built out these three different environments, and while it worked for a little while, it ended up losing its ability to effectively market and promote across all three platforms. This led to an overall fragmented web presence because the separate website entities did not have a seamless integration with each other.
Jim knew it would be costly to try and go in and rebuild these sites. On top of that, Jim worked for other artists, so he was not able to solely focus on Ricks' sites because he had to manage his other artists. Jim became bogged down with tedious tasks instead of focusing on how to grow Rick Springfield's business.

They turned to ONELIVE for help, who was able to bring it all together. They took the website, members' fan club, online store, and VIP experiences and migrated them into one, leading the team to re-focus their efforts to driving traffic to RickSpringfield.com and take advantage of that traffic to help increase conversations and overall revenue growth. We knew that if we could combine all the different programs, websites, and platforms that it would make it much more cohesive, therefore, making it easier on both artists and fans to navigate.
ONELIVE was given the ability to jump in on VIP and expand upon their already existing meet-and-greet experiences. We added a secondary premium merch package, which created a new revenue stream that they didn't have before, while also helping launch the new offer of premium merch and ticket component. Rick’s fan club membership was also sold as a bundle on the Ticketmaster platform which ultimately further maximized membership sales and provided a new sales channel for memberships and a new revenue stream to Rick.
Merging the three sites into one has tremendously helped bring visitors to one environment to get tour dates, ticket information, and everything else they wanted or needed to know.
