Event POS FAQ

Find answers to frequently asked questions related to ONELIVE's Live Events POS

What is ONELIVE Live Events app?

The system is part of the broader ONELIVE direct‑to‑fan ecommerce and event platform that helps artists, sports teams, and entertainment brands sell merchandise and run point‑of‑sale operations at live events. It integrates online sales, onsite POS, ticketing, and fan data to streamline event day and online commerce

How does the Live Events POS work?

While ONELIVE historically has focused on ecommerce and direct-to-fan platforms, the ONELIVE Live Events POS app brings purpose-built tools directly into Shopify's POS for selling merchandise on-site at events. This includes a fast vending interface for managing multi-location inventory transfers, checkout, processing payments, tracking sales in real time, and running automated settlements & reporting with e-signatures after the show. ONELIVE's ecosystem can tie those sales back to your main backend.

Is the system suitable for large events and festivals?

Yes, ONELIVE’s platform supports ticketing and merchandise sales both online and at events. Tickets, VIP passes, and branded merchandise can be sold through web & mobile. Unlimited POS registers across multiple locations at an event, with real-time inventory sync.

What kind of hardware is required to use ONELVE POS at a festival or venue?

ONELIVE Liev Events POS works on tablets, iPhones, and Androids with supported card readers. We also have handheld devices that you can use to be able to take all payments while walking around. Perfect for mobile carts, pop-up stands, etc. The setup is easy, flexible and scalable for any event size.

Does the POS connect with existing websites or ecommerce platforms?
Yes, ONELIVE integrates with major ecommerce platforms like Shopify Plus and can centralize sales, inventory, and fan data across those systems and your live event tools.
What payment methods are supported?

Typically, modern event POS setups support major credit/debit cards, mobile wallets, contactless payments (tap, chip, swipe, ApplePay, Google Pay), and gift or promo codes. ONELIVE integrates commerce tools that handle a wide variety of payment processing options depending on your setup and provider.

How does ONELIVE POS handle low inventory alerts or last-minute merchandise changes?
The platform has a real-time inventory display so staff can see current levels when inventory runs low and allows on-the-fly updates.
How is ONELIVE Live Events POS better than other systems like AtVenu?

ONELIVE's Live Events App is built natively on Shopify, which gives you capabilities other platforms like AtVenu can't match. Your event merch, online store, and fan data all run on one platform with shared inventory. You keep 100% ownership of customer data and can use Shopify's full ecosystem: email marketing, loyalty programs, analytics, and thousands of apps. Settlements are fully digital and exportable, with auto-calculated splits and e-signature documents. And because it's Shopify, checkout and payments are backed by enterprise-grade infrastructure with industry-leading uptime. Fund availability is fast, and you're not locked into outdated proprietary hardware.

Can I track sales and performance in real time?

Yes, ONELIVE’s Event app provides dashboards reporting sales data, inventory across channels (online and onsite) so you can monitor performance and adjust offerings on the fly, and analytics including per-head spend, purchase rates, and revenue projections based on past shows.
